ENGAGE YOUR MIND
Orthografiend is an addictive twist on word construction games. Use the letters of the puzzle word to build as many new words as you can, but watch out! Word order is critical, because the value of each word depends on how differently it is spelled from the previous word.

Orthografiend pushes your creativity, strategic planning, memory, and vocabulary to the limit. Think quickly but plan ahead. Save key words to play at the opportune moment to earn bonuses, leverage the board's special tiles, maximize your score, and reach the next level. Success brings you tougher boards, harder words, and new special tiles. Get far enough and you'll even face off against the Orthografiend's minions, and finally against the 'Fiend himself. But to get there you'll have to manage your resources carefully or it'll all spin suddenly, horribly out of control!

Think your vocabulary isn't up to the job? It soon will be! Start with the easiest difficulty and the game will help you discover new words and give you hints when you're stuck. Even so it's no cakewalk and you'll find plenty of challenges.

Find the regular game too stressful? Just need some time to think? Like cats? The Timeless challenge was made for you! Sure the board layouts are a bit tougher, but you can play at your own pace without the tick-tick-tick of the clock wreaking havoc with your blood pressure.

Or maybe you read dictionaries for fun and all your friends are philologists? Yes? Then you're in luck, because it takes a special kind of genius to beat the game's hardest difficulty, and those robots need your help! Oh, yes, it IS beatable, but you'll have to work for it. Harder puzzle words. Fewer, more obscure solutions. Less time on the clock. Less help. And unlike other difficulty settings, when you lose, you really lose: continuing your game is not allowed.

Want to pit your skills against another player? Challenge your friends or anonymous strangers in epic multiplayer showdowns. You can be smart AND sneaky with new multiplayer-only tiles that will frustrate your opponents and deny them critical resources.

Don't feel like dealing with people today? Worried you'll embarrass yourself? Hone your multiplayer skills against 28 AI personalities. Or, if you prefer some passive in your aggressive, you can obsessively compare your leaderboard scores and achievement progress with your friends instead.
