Correction: app issue resolved. Great for practicing kanji but I wish there was the option of vocal sound over reading the kana. I think it would help retention of the kanji in practice mode

About this app

Karuta Kanji is a fun game that makes you learn and exercise intermediate kanjis from the japanese language. The game was inspired by the famous karuta game from Japan, but with bright colors, sound, mascot, multiplayer game modes and fun! You will have to see the word that is written in hiragana and get the card with the same word, but written on the scary kanji! So, do you think you can master the art of kanji with cards?

The game features:

- Kanjis: All the game's kanjis are extracted from the level 4 of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT N4). There are 181 kanjis combined into 245 words!
- Inspired by the word of karuta: Watch the word and get the card as fast as you can!
- Training mode to learn japanese words written in intermediate kanjis (you can play it even if you have never seen the kanjis)
- Casual mode to challenge another player online and use wacky items that can help you win the game. Do you know more about kanji than your friend?
- Competition mode to compete in the game's global ranking. In a competition, all kanjis are used!
- If you get the right cards, the mascot will get happy. But if you guess it wrong, she will be mad!
- Cool music and funny sound effects!
- Different cards and background for different game modes

Note: The application is recommended for at least 7 inch tablet because the design was created using this resolution. The design may not be good on smaller devices

New features

- Fixed mistranslations on japanese language support
- Repositioned elements to make the game design perfect on 10 inches or more tablets
- Fixed bug that made the casual mode crash on devices that have api less than 11
