About this app

This game is an instantiation of the famous card game named "Bataille" in french.

This simple game is especially targeted to people who learn to recognize cards and know their values. The “battle” phase brings a little suspense and surprise by winning or losing cards, maybe very strong ones.
For other people, this game can be used to pass the time in certain situations, without needing to think a lot.

The game is simple: Each player returns the 1st card of his pile. The one of the 2 players who has the strongest card (the suit is not taken into account) wins and takes the card of his opponent and puts it back with his card under his pile. When cards values are equals, there is "Battle" and each player places one card face down on his “battle” pile, then one card face up. The one of the 2 players who has placed the highest visible card wins and wins all the cards placed on the 2 “battle” piles (his pile and the opponent’s pile), including the ones face down. When cards values are equals, the “battle” continues, until one of the players wins or until one of the players no longer has a card, in which case he lost.
The player who get all the cards won the game.
