About this app

This FREE version of VocaBiToku’s Number and Letter Place Trainer & Gamer for ( Sudoku and Wordoku ) offers 7 levels of difficulty. The free version offers repeated access to 6 game boards. But, for a small cost, you can purchase, from the Google Play Store, the full version of VocaBiToku that offers over 600 game boards.

Wikipedia’s link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudoku) states: “Sudoku; originally called Number Place, is a logic-based number placement puzzle. The objective is to fill a 9×9 grid with digits so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 sub-grids that compose the grid contains all of the digits from 1 to 9."

Wikipedia also states: “Wordoku is a logic-based letter placement puzzle. The objective is to fill a 9×9 grid with letters so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 sub-grids that compose the grid contains all of the letters from (A - I).” For clarification, Wordoku is like Sudoku except that Wordoku uses letters (A - I) instead of numbers (1 - 9) … For example, the same single number or letter may not appear twice in the same row, column or in any of the nine 3×3 sub-regions of the 9x9 playing board."

To assist VocaBiToku users of various levels, each row and column is monitored by a green box monitor. The number of monitors is governed by the game board’s difficulty level. If all user moves are correct, the monitors will remain green and show the number 45. But, if the entry is wrong, the monitor turns gray and the value reflects the relative difference. In Sudoku a meter value greater than 45 indicates that placed digit is greater than the number expected. In Wordoku a meter value greater than 45 indicates that placed letter is greater than the letter expected. A meter value less than 45 indicates that the Sudoku digit or the Wordoku letter is lower than expected.

The full version of VocaBiToku offers 648 game boards.
