The free version is better. You have two new stages to fight and a handful of more monsters- which personally isn't worth paying for- but the battle system is changed for the worst in my opinion. The new health meter looks like ugly clutter now, and I may be wrong but I swear battles take longer due to extra health and blocking is harder. Also your save data from the free version doesn't carry over to this one. Neps is cute but bland and gets boring fast. The paid version doesn't change that.
