This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MasterMind - For 2 players on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

With this app you can play MasterMind code-breaking game on your phone/tablet like the original board game. The two players decide in advance who becomes the codemaker, and who (the other) the codebreaker.

Rules:

1. The codemaker chooses a pattern of four color dots out of six colors, (color duplicates are not allowed.) hides it, then he/she gives the mobile device to the codebreaker.

2. The codebreaker (taking the device up side down) tries to guess the pattern, in both order and color, within six turns.
The codebreaker then gives back the mobile device to the codemaker to check the guess.

3. The codemaker provides feedback by placing from zero to four black/white dots:
- A black dot must be placed for each code dot from the guess which is correct in both color and position.
- A white key dot indicates the existence of a correct color code dot placed in the wrong position.
(The codemaker can reveal/hide the original code by toucing the eye symbol.)
The app is checks only whether the code is breaked, so it is the codemaker's responsibility to give correct feedback.

4. Once feedback is provided, another guess is made; guesses and feedback continue to alternate until either the codebreaker guesses correctly, or six incorrect guesses are made.
