About this app

This is the second version of one of the most popular games in many countries. The game’s name “ALPHABET” is new. People used to play it on paper. Now, we offer this version for you to play it, on your android devices, alone or with as many friends as you wish. It is easy but challenging especially because we added the countdown.
The objective of the game is to fill five fields with words which commence with a chosen letter. These fields are:
1. Names (first name) of persons
2. Animals
3. Plants
4. Professions or occupations
5. States or Capitals
In this new version we added an educational level targeting the younger players. If you choose this level, there will be a hint of pictures, displayed for few seconds, to help you know the answer. You can write the corresponding names or any other correct word in the fields.
You will get 10 points for each correct word, a bonus of 50 points if you fill the five fields with correct words before the end of the round’s time and 100 points if you fill them in less than 30 seconds.
Players choose letters alternately. A letter can be chosen only once. The player who gets the highest score, at the end of the all played rounds is declared winner.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: USE ONLY LOWERCASE LETTERS.

Beside the countdown, the actual version has other features: score and hi-score, sound effects and volume to control it. The built-in dictionaries contain more than 8000 words. They contain the most common names and words. It is probable that you write a word but it will be refused by the game, simply because it is not listed in the dictionaries.
The game is optimized for both phones and tablets. It has been widely tested. Nevertheless, it will be highly appreciated if you inform us by email about any bug or any idea to develop it.
