Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Pure Solitaire on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Really good version, love the simple graphics. Smooth playing. Great when waiting for public transport but must confess to playing at home tons too!

About this app

Pure Solitaire is a classic soltaire card game. It may be better known to you as 'patience' or 'klondike'. Whatever you choose to call it, it's still the same addictive card sorting game. A game you can safely turn to when you've got a few minutes or a few hours to while away. We call it Pure Solitaire because that's just what it means – we play the classic 'klondike' version and we haven't tweaked the rules to make it groovy and undos are off by default (if you use undos your scores won't be eligible for the all-time records! – so get practicing without a safety net).

It won't cost you anything to play Pure Solitaire, it is a free download and there are no nasty in-app purchase surprises. The game is ad-supported, after all we have to pay the bills somehow, although it's not quite that simple – nothing ever is. An advert is shown once at the start of each game, but not always and the more games you play the less ads you will see, and the same goes for your playing stats – the better you become the more ad-free time there is. Also, if you manage to hold one of the all-time records you won't see any ads at all, ever again!! Yes, we like to reward our dedicated players.
