This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Odysee on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. About this app

Experience what it’s like to be diagnosed with diseases that affect your eyesight and even the lives of those in total blindness.

In each journey, you’ll experience a different eye disease and character to complete a task. Take on the characters of an elderly man, middle-aged women and young boy as they go about their daily lives with their visual impairment. Learn about the eye diseases they have like age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinitis pigmentosa.

Put yourself in their shoes and use your smartphone as a white cane by moving it from the left, centre and right. You’ll have to rely heavily on your other senses like hearing and touch. By listening carefully and using your white cane, determine the sounds of your surroundings to manoeuvre through the different settings on your journey.

Through Odysee, we hope to raise awareness on visual impairment and help players empathise with those who suffer from eye diseases. At the end of your journey, we encourage players to go for regular eye checks to prevent the deterioration of your eyesight. They can also contribute their time or donate money to Save Ones Sight Missions for the prevention and treatment of visual disability.
