If not for the fact this is the best minesweeper app in the play store, I'd delete it. The ads are relentless, and it can take less than 3 seconds to lose a game and be forced into a 30 second ad with audio I can't mute unless the phone volume is off, and can't close out of because the X is so small it always redirects me to a webpage. It's honestly faster to force close the app than to wait for the ad the finish and put up with it.

A great, faithful recreation of the Windows classic, now with a new Detonator mode. It's a shame that there's a bug in Detonator mode where it doesn't always clear spaces that it should, though. (Edit) I contacted the developer about this bug. He said it had been fixed and he was waiting for Google Play to publish the fixed version. Over a year later, several updates have happened, but the bug is still there, and the developer no longer replies.

While it perfectly captures the classic feel of a certain O/S's Minesweeper game, I do have one criticism. When the app is first started, you're offered all these different play options. However, once you pick one and start playing the game, there's no way of getting back to that menu screen aside from restarting the app. Once this oversight is fixed, it's a 5-star game to me.

Finished a game, except when I got to the end, two tiles had incorrect numbers, confusing me and causing me to watch 2 ads for hints that never appeared. I am pretty sure this is intentional and designed that way to get more ad revenue. Had to end the game by pressing on one of the remaining tiles, just to watch every remaining tile show a bomb. Pretty sad.

I paid for the full ad-free experience but after doing a factory reset on my phone, i lost my access. Should be tied to my account, not my phone. But the gameplay is perfect.

Not a bad re-creation of a simple old game. But too often I intend to longpress to mark a mine and the game decides to uncover the square and blow me up! And there are too many ads.
