Have been using this since last 2 halloween and its been a hit! 1 suggestion for upgrade I would recommend is that user should be able to pick which sound to use for each tap activation. Currently it's random sounds when activated.

I loved this app last year (Halloween 2018), for lighting up the house to let trick or treaters know we were open for business, but it doesn't work on recent versions of Android. Now I'm hunting for a replacement.

Liven up your Halloween party by bringing in the undead!

HUE HALLOWEEN LIGHT PARTY

This app is a disco party for your Philips Hue lights, with several modes of flashing, flickering and throbbing colored lights. Pair your smartphone with bluetooth speakers to play your favorite playlist, and when you're ready for the light show, press play on this, the H3Party app.

You can also choose between a full range of colors, or just Halloween-themed colors: red, purple, orange, yellow and green.

MONSTERS, WITCHES, SPOOKS AND MORE

Once you hit play, the app "listens" to the music. Whenever it detects a change in songs, or a lull in the music, it fills the gap with one of over 40 Halloween-themed sounds, from a witch's laugh to evil laughter, torture sounds and screams, wolves, vampires and more.

You can choose the right volume for "triggering" the scary sounds, or let it figure it out on its own, based on how loud the party and the music is getting.

SPOOKY EFFECTS

Whenever H3Party plays one of its sounds, the lights react in unison, flashing in one of the selected Halloween colors while the sound plays.

NO HUE LIGHTS NEEDED!

For those that don't actually have Philips Hue lights, or don't wish to use them, no problem! The app can still be used as a Halloween party DJ, interjecting scary sounds in between each song. Just pair with your favorite speakers, play music from any player (MP3, Spotify, anything), then switch to H3Party and hit the play button. The app will listen for pauses and play the sounds over and between songs.

New features

This version has a completely new and simplified layout. Most of the app configuration have been moved to the configuration pages, leaving only the most important buttons on the main screen.
