About this app

In compliance with the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening Act of 2009, a Universal Newborn Hearing Screening Program (UNHSP) for the prevention, early diagnosis and intervention of hearing loss (RA 9709), a low-cost solution was developed through the partnership of PNEI-NHSRC, Smart Communincations, Inc., Voyager, and AJWCC.

The goal of the application is to test newborn babies for profound bilateral deafness, for early detection and intervention. Data is recorded using the mobile application and sent to a server for further analysis.
