This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing DynaMed Mobile on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. New update doesn't allow for navigating through sections of the articles

Crashes frequently on Galaxy Tab 4 Android 4.4.2. Very poor search functionality. It is a storage hog and installs a 500mb folder called Vspringboard onto the internal storage of your device which is impossible to transfer over to an external SD card even if the app is on the external SD. DynaMed is a great resource on a desktop or laptop. This app isn't of the same quality. More frustration than it is worth.

I love this app. It's an incredibly useful tool for looking up clinical info on the fly. However, the update system seems rather archaic. Why is it downloading each update file individually, and then installing it? If the system has multiple updates, it would seem to be much more efficient to mass download the updates, then mass install them, instead of switching back and forth repeatedly. I see people complaining of 100mb+ updates, but these aren't a problem if they don't take 2+ hours to install

I love dynamed content but the app needs work. Text Zooming is erratic, difficult and slow. The text layout compared to skyscape is also worse.

Need to update data almost daily. Time consuming download 90-100MB each time. Can't use it until completed database update. Please improve. Otherwise a very good resource.

The frequent mandartory 100+MB updates render the app useless. It doesn't let you continue with the old content, so instead of point-of-care info, it's actually point-of-care updates plus search for alternative source e.g. UpToDate. The content itself is fine, as long as you can actually access it when the need arises.
