This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Medicator on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Medicator es una aplicación que permitirá a gente que se medica, ya sea de forma continua u ocasional, gestionar las tomas de sus medicamentos a través de su teléfono móvil o dispositivo con Android.

(Recuerden que existe un MENU que se activa pulsando la teclar menu de su movil, para configurar el programa)

En primer lugar podrán insertar cualquier fármaco al programa asignándole un nombre, una descripción y con la posibilidad de hacer una fotografía. Después hay que elegir en qué momento del día se debe tomar el medicamento: desayuno, comida, tarde, cena o al acostarse, siempre indicando a la aplicación el numero de dosis.

Una vez se haya introducido un nuevo medicamento, existe la posibilidad de borrarlo o modificarlo, ver un horario con una lista completa de todos fármacos, las dosis, y el momento del día en el que haya que administrarlos, o consultar, a traves de Google Maps y el gps del dispositivo (será necesario tener tarifa de datos o conexión a Internet de algun tipo para esta función) la ubicación de todas las farmacias cercanas al usuario.

Por su puesto, es posible modificar las horas de los cinco momentos del día donde el programa avisará para recordar al usuario que debe medicarse.

Por último, hay una función que hace posible la llamada a un teléfono configurable, en caso de necesitarlo
