The app rarely records journeys accurately, and records scores in an inconsistent manner for smoothness. Speed and usage are usually accurate. I wouldn't consider the app to be fit for purpose, and would be better off just using a black box instead if capturing telematics data was that important to the company. Very poor app, very poor implementation, not worth it even as a 'free' offer with the car. I would rather have had a bigger discount on the car and organised my own insurance instead at this point. None of the complaints by previous reviewers have been fixed yet. It would be good to be able to see all legacy data rather than having it wiped from the dashboard every Monday, at which point it becomes totally inaccessible.

After having my new seat for a week and using this app, I can confirm other reviews on here. I regularly get signed out and have to re sign in before my journeys, it has failed to realise I have been driving he past couple of days and it has been giving me (in my opinion) unfair scores on my driving, not that it means much anyway. Yes it's free insurance for a year, but it's a hell of a lot more pain than it should be.

I don't get signed out like other people have said in their reviews, but it just doesn't show up all my journeys. This week, I have driven over 200 miles and it hasn't recorded anything. Some weeks, it will say I have driven 10 mins in 1 minute, and that obviously isnt true. It's such a faulty app!

Awful... Always logs me out, driving scores don't make sense and are very unreliable. I should be able to just get into my car and drive without the hassle of logging back into the app before going anywhere!

Quite honestly the worst app I've ever had the displeasure of owning. I'm currently getting free insurance from Seat but I'd actually rather pay for insurance than deal with the many grievances of owning Seat insurance. 1. App logs you out every time you close it. 2. App doesn't correctly measure ANY driving statistics. 3. If you don't get in your car within a 24hour period, the app spams you with texts reminding you that you haven't been in your car. Like I've somehow forgot that I own a car within the last 24 hours. 4. Crashes all the time. 5. Terrible customer support. 6. Terrible app design. Just don't even bother getting insurance with Seat, pay the extra money and go with literally anyone else. I couldn't recommend Seat any less if I tried. At least the car itself is nice I guess.

Constantly logging back in, doesn't know when I've stopped driving (apparently took me 2 hours to drive 10 miles). Gives me horrendous scores for journeys I have made every effort to be good. Just not what I'd expect from SEAT.

About this app

If your SEAT motor insurance policy requires the use of a telematics app, you will need to download and connect the SEAT Insurance Telematics app to your vehicle’s Bluetooth.

Once connected, the app uses the latest telematics technology to measure various aspects of your driving style. For every journey you make we will use this data to score your speed, smoothness and usage. These scores are then combined to give you an overall Driving Style score.

Key features:
- Login to view your personal dashboard
- Check your weekly Driving Style score
- View data recorded for your last 20 journeys
- Receive notifications to keep track of your driving style

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background will decrease battery life. We recommend using an in-car charger if you're going on a long journey.

New features

Encryption of User Data.
Protection from Overlay activity interception.
