The app makes it so easy and tempting for drivers to scam you. Regardless the actual meter, drivers can charge the max. For the two trips in Rome, the actual meters were around 18 and 16 EUR, respectively. But the drivers charged 22 EUR plus 2.5 EUR for a fee. At least in Rome, there are many taxi stops. So, I recommend grabbing taxis from taxi stops instead of using the app.

Absolute garbage. I can't believe Google suggests this in there map transport options. Tried to use it twice Barcelona. Both times, the driver told us he had arrived. He was nowhere in sight. After I sent him the address the again, he said he needed 10 more minutes. The other driver tried to make us walk 6 minutes to get to him. I canceled both rides. This app is bullsh*t. Deleting.

Don't bother with this app in Rome if more than 4 people; we had 5. If you do actually get a cab, although we never could, pay through the app so the driver doesn't just charge whatever they want. We had to pay whatever the taxi makes up that they want to charge because we never got a taxi available through the app. Taxis don't bother with a meter here. *Update* - The service mostly works in Barcelona, but we had a driver pick up someone else, drive right past us, and would not cancel the trip.

Only booked a taxi once out of four attempts. I was only successful in getting a ride in Athens, Greece one time. The other three attempts were met with unavailable to find a driver and timeouts. These were also in Athens, during the afternoon and evening on a weekday. One taxi driver who doesn't use Freenow said that the app takes 13% of the fare. Perhaps if you lower your take, more drivers will use your app. I'm deleting the app.

Drivers can't you find you. Refuse to pick you up at the location you select. All taxi will charge you more than the app. Would not use at a first option. Uber is cheaper and worked. But still had the same issues. Talked to a driver, they said that they get paid more without the app... so there is no reason for the drivers to use it.

Useless. Standing in the rain at Cork Airport, with a queue in the taxi line and no taxis for 15+ minutes. Decided to use the app, scheduled the trip, and after 10 minutes of the app saying "just another minute", finally responded that it could not locate a taxi. But it has already "reserved" the fare on my credit card. Don't bother with this useless app
