Den dagliga bördan av att bära vatten leder till att kvinnor inte har tid att arbeta och få en inkomst och många flickor tvingas sluta i skolan. Det leder till en större risk att fastna i långvarig fattigdom.

För att belysa allas rätt till rent vatten genomför WaterAid kampanjen March for Water varje år i mars. Under March for Water uppmärksammar vi de konsekvenser vattenkrisen får för flickor och kvinnor världen över.
