Os artistas através das suas obras produzem mutabilidades, acidentalidades, apresentam-nos frequentemente novas cartografias. Confrontam-nos com novas probabilidades de existência das coisas do mundo, através de formas sensíveis que agem e nos convidam - por vezes obrigam- a ver o que antes não era visível, logo a sentir e a pensar de outro modo.
O resultado desse confronto, coloca-nos muitas vezes perante o desenvolvimento de forças invisíveis que fazem vibrar, criar ressonâncias, forças plásticas que podem agir sobre o corpo-indivíduo, multiplicando possibilidades conscientes e da inconsciência no corpo-coletivo, de cada lugar e de cada comunidade.
Os artistas ao colocarem as suas obras no espaço público, nesses dispositivos utilizados pela publicidade, os MUPIs, com a sua escala humana, confrontam, interpelam, inevitavelmente aqueles que passam, - se assim o desejarem- , com uma função alterada; ficam diante duma outra «coisa». Uma presença que por existir no espaço sensível que é o espaço público, pode revelar as coincidências existentes entre o fazer poético e a ação política.
