This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MoH eCHIS Uganda on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

eCHIS is an OpenSRP FHIR-based community health tool that supports the Village Health Teams (VHTs) in decision-making and care support for members of their communities. The tool is used in Uganda.

The application uses digital registers to organize client records by health category and assist in planning home visits. It includes Households, ANC Clients, PNC Clients, Child Clients, Family Planning Clients and HIV/TB registers. eCHIS supports various workflows focused on maternal and child health support; support in integrated community case management (iCCM) for children under 5, Community events-based surveillance (CEBS) as well as referral tracking.It also consists of stock usage components that track stock consumption and restocking for community-level commodities and automate reporting at the community and national levels
