Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Kent Connected on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Great idea but needs more work. I'm using it for walks in the countryside but it often doesn't load if the reception is poor. It also doesn't show gates and stiles reliably and as I have a large dog we often end up retracing our steps.

Not great. Put in my work to home route and it takes you along all the dangerous main roads. Was hoping it would make use of byways and off road routes after looking at the pictures but no. Shame really, could have been useful.

I've been waiting for an app like this that has public footpaths on it. Only used it for 5 minutes but looks great, really easy to use and looking forward to heading across countryside.

Not entirely sure what this gives us that existing software doesn't? That said, seems to work well planning a journey via road routes by bike. Wish it could include public footpaths/byways etc. Then it would be worth using!

Could be so good but quite often doesn't load up and I have to reinstall it. Please fix this bug!!

Unable to get beyond getting there gives me details of train journey and unable to move to next section. Extremely frustrating
