About this app

GATRO Indonesia is an Android-based application which is used as an online tourist-companion for tourism in Indonesia.

GATRO Indonesia has four main features : Tourism, UMKM, AR Map, and Trip-Planner. In Tourism and UMKM menus, GATRO Indonesia provides various informations about tourism places and local gifts store (in other name, UMKM) in Indonesia, such as the price of ticket, nearby and popular attractions, also the list of gifts product.

AR Map menu is equipped with Augmented Reality Technology so that GATRO Indonesia makes exploring Indonesia easier by helping user to navigate to the closest tourism place and local gifts store with the user's current destination. For example, when the user wants to know which tourism places and local gifts store that they should visit in the user's current city destination, GPS on the user's smartphone will automatically detect the city destination.

As the user moves and directs their smartphone to the north, GATRO Indonesia will show where the closest tourism place and local gifts store are located from the north with an estimated maximum distance of 5 kilometers. GATRO Indonesia also can act as a planner and manager for travelling with Trip-Planner menu which provides suggestion list of travel routes, hotels, tourism places, local foods and gifts in one package with variation of price from the highest price to the lowest price so user is able to adjust the estimated budget they must have to get to the destination, without to search it individually, and it is for free so it might help the user with money management. This application has user-friendly interface which makes the user will feel easy to use it and modern design to attract the younglings.

GATRO Indonesia is intended to promote and enliven tourism places also local gifts store in Indonesia to society and worldwide in order to help rising the economic growth of Indonesia.
