Just kind of pointless, and as others have said, being pestered by location popups is a rookie programming mistake that should never have left the cutting room floor. Don't bother.

I don't want to give you location access. Instead of using the built in options which I can tell not to bother me anymore you circumvent this by using an annoying splash screen every time I start the app. Your app doesn't need my location to use the functions that I want. Stop asking. It's even worse now that I have to say "sounds good" and have no option to select I don't want to enable location, then I get a second splash screen that wants me to go to settings after I pick no from my system

Developer fixed the permission issues. Love the app. Thanks!

I would enjoy this app much more if I were not constantly receiving notifications that it has opened itself in the background and has tried to gain location. Even completely denying this permission has not fixed the issue.

Update: Per the comment, I was able to set the app to only use location services while the app is in use via system settings. Not sure this helps V9 users. I liked the app before. Not flashy but functional. Now, it seems to always be using my location services (even in the background). I understand the purpose but I think this is a really bad implementation of the feature. Use my location services when the app is open but not in the background. Until then, I'm turning it off at the system level.

This app has great access to homebrew recipes for my fellow home brewers. It also has some pretty decent discounts for alcohol at local merchants. The reason I have given 4 stars is because after saving recipes (other people'srecipes), they don't seem to stick around. I then have to go back in and remember which recipes i found and am interested in trying. Anyone else having this issue?
