The connection part of the setup was easy. There are few things that I wish the developer add: The ability to use the zoom function, the option for the camera to take pictures and start recording video when the motion sensor sends the notification to your phone or tablet. In my case I installed a 64 Gigabytes micro SD card but the camera doesn't recognize, it can record pictures taken but cannot record video. Please help.

It works- barely. It does stay on and connected to the data all the time and the process will kill your battery in all versions of android I tested. The cameras made by vstarcam are good and vstarcam monitoring and recording software is excellent. Once the cameras are updated they work pretty well other than when the sd is full. Direct connect via ip is possible as well as thru the web- but don't count on winbook bothering to to fix their end of life rebranded product. You can't even kill the process.

Aside from a poorly formatted GUI most features work but the software does not have settings for recording timers even though the manual shows it does. Also shows it has a one year warranty but no where anything manuals just tell you where to send it when you need the warranty. Is this correctly you can only record when the app is running doesn't record to the SD card by itself? Did I mention that the zoom features don't work either? I will be returning this tomorrow.

just downloaded this app with the latest version. It worked fine when the winbook cam is directly attached via ethernet to the router. WHen the ethernet cable is removed from the cam, the app just shows offline - nada. how can an app from the hardware manufacturer not working with its own hardware is beyond me. I am running samsung s5 with lollipop. Frustrated user

I installed on 2 Galaxy S5, 1 on Android running 4.4.2 and 1 on 5.1.1. After I make a video recording, it shows up saying I have videos. But when I click on the videos , there is none. Please fix. Everything else works great.

I had previously written that it no longer worked with 5.0. I emailed the developer and he sent me a beta version that worked. It has now been distribued. It once again works perfectly with my Winbook cameras. I can keep an eye on my doggies again.
