Read the news this morning to find the crayfish rules changed on the 9th May 2020 to reflect daily limit for rec now 3 and the tails I think need to be trimmed some how in cray east coast north island. According to my ap it updated today but it still shows the old regs. WHY A STEAM DRIVEN SYSTEM ??? One can get into serious trouble for fishing outside the limits so it appears every time one goes to sea one must ring some govt dept to reconfirm ALL the rules. Not practical or logical.

Would be great if the App could be made to work offline, many harvesting spots are out of good coverage areas and makes checking your limits difficult or impossible. Please look into this. Also struggles to get past the disclaimer page on a regular basis.

Why don't you call yourself SEA fishing rules?? Not a single word about river or lake fishing. No tench in the database and only Sea Perch, not normal Perch like the ones caught in lakes and rivers. Didn't see anything freshwater at all although there maybe trout but I don't want to fly fish either. Looks like nobody in NZ has heard of COARSE fishing like we do in Europe. Please be more specific with your description of yourself in future so as to avoid wasting people's time!
