This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing DigiD on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

After I updated the app the QR code scanner no longer functions. This is really frustrating, especially when you are outside NL! Please have it fixed!

I need to get coronatest but I can't. Because the QR scanner on Digid doesn't work so I cannot login. Isn't it ridiculous? Did the developer ever test it before releasing this version? So frustrating.

I now need to scan my ID to use it, wich is an incorrect document according to the app. So I can no longer log in to anything I've connect this to.

I rarely review apps and now I must use the cliché "I would leave 0 stars if that was possible". This app beats its own purpose to simply login using your DigiD. Every time I open this app it goes "What's the magic word?" and I go "I don't know, that's why I downloaded you!" Anyways, all I am trying to say, every time I need to use this app I am surely logged out, need to reauthenticate the log-in, reset my password, sacrifice a goat..it's a pain...

this app doesn't work with screens that are larger than 16:9 it's impossible to scan a QR code because it's stretching it to a rectangle. I just saw your reply last night, I phoned during my break. They couldn't understand the issue. and wouldn't transfer me to the qa deportment. as a developer myself I thought I ought to call and explain mistake, in hopes It could one day he fixed. How do I log in with the DigiD app?
Logging in with the DigiD app can be done in two ways:

1. On your phone or tablet you log in with just a pin code.
2. Or log in on a computer using the app. You take over a verification code, scan a QR code and then enter your pin code.

DATA PROCESSING & PRIVACY

The DigiD app processes the IP address, the name and version of the operating system of your smartphone or tablet, the unique identifier of the mobile device, your mobile phone number and the 5-digit PIN code you select. When performing the ID check, DigiD processes the document number / driver's license number, date of birth and validity.

By downloading and using the DigiD app you agree to this processing, which is also subject to the following provisions.

1. The user's personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. In the privacy statement you will find who is responsible for the processing of personal data for DigiD, which personal data of the DigiD user is processed and for what purpose.
