I haven't really experienced any additional use for this app. Sharing from NS RP is annoying. Also when arriving at my destination it gives me a reminder that I shouldn't forget to check-out. This message can't be closed/removed until the app is forced closed. Please fix. While traveling one part of the train would stay the other would travwl further. Te app didn't show any information consider this split-up. It would be nice if you could see the trailer numbers in the app. Thank you.

A decent app considering what it's trying to achieve. Live tracking of your journey works good for me. What i would like to see added is: notifications/alarm when you're reaching a station to transfer on, updating of the best possible journey on the fly; my connecting train was delayed but the journey assistant wasn't offering me a better option for my second part of the journey. Looking forward to more features.

In NS Lab testen we verschillende nieuwe functionaliteiten die jouw reis beter en leuker kunnen maken. Jij als reiziger speelt daarin een centrale rol. Test je met ons mee?

De juiste informatie op elk moment – zonder te zoeken!
NS Lab biedt jou stap voor stap reisbegeleiding, maar is geen reisplanner. Hoe dat werkt? Je plant je reis in de NS-app en deelt deze met de NS Lab-app. Vervolgens ontvang je handige informatie en entertainment voor onderweg. Zo zie je hoeveel minuten je nog hebt om je trein te halen, waar en wanneer je moet overstappen en krijg je navigatie naar je perron op een aantal grote treinstations. Ook als je geen reis gepland hebt, biedt NS Lab je – op basis van jouw locatie – de reisinformatie die je nodig hebt. Zo laten we je zien in welke trein je zit en op welke stations deze nog gaat stoppen.

Entertainment voor onderweg
Naast stap voor stap reisbegeleiding krijg je met NS Lab ook entertainment voor tijdens je treinreis. Maak kennis met MindfulNS voor een relaxtere reis, luister naar één van onze podcasts of speel de quiz Spoorwijs, exclusief op jouw treinreis tussen Amsterdam en Eindhoven.

Hoe werkt het?
Om NS Lab goed te kunnen gebruiken heb je de NS-app op je mobiel staan, koppel je een persoonlijke OV-chipkaart aan de app en geef je de app toestemming om je locatie te gebruiken. Daarnaast heb je minimaal Android 5.0 nodig. Voor sommige onderdelen van de app vragen we je om in te loggen met je Mijn NS account.
