Where to start, actually it really didn't the system was down🤦🏻♂️ When it did connect for what it is, you would expect it to function easily but Meh! It just doesn't cut it as an introduction to EV Charging simplicity!😳 It's supposed to be a function app but the app struggles to function itself! Maybe I wouldn't be so negative but when your trying to get a charge and the app tells you check internet connection, when your standing not 100 yards from a 4G transmitter with maximum bars, Argh!

The app is slow, absolutely crawling with bugs that nobody bothered to fix and, except for the useful map that tells you where the charging points are, quite a scam! They invite you to take their card for £20/year which is for the " honour of using their card" as the costumer service desk described it, so it's not a membership, doesn't give you any free charge...it's a huge con! At all the charging points you can charge by tapping your normal contactless card so no need!

The app itself is straight forward enough, though it's a pain having to tap each charger to find the unit ID number. The worst part is when it's "unable to connect to server" even though you have full signal. The 'activity' tab doesn't seem to ever show anything either.

Frustrating 😤 when it works, frustrating when it doesn't... Chargers disappear, no communication, messages like rejected but no actual help. It was certainly better when the rfid card arrived even if it was 20 quid. Don't forget you can always ring for help, but they've never answered in less than 20 minutes....

If this app improved immensely it might just be useless. Almost 90% failure in Scotland. It simply does not work reliably often not communicating with server although good 4G signal and no problem with phone comms. I now have an RFID card. This review has 1 star because it will not allow you to have none..

It's fine when it works, but the interface is very clunky and old fashioned. It would be better if it was more up to date, had an integrated route planner system, and live chat to a support team. When you call there is quite often noone answering! It will be difficult to promote EVs if the managing system is this bad!
