All the poor reviews are people who keep calling this icon pack a widget.
This is NOT a widget. Icon packs replace the default icons. The base Amber
Weather app has it's own default widget that functions based on your
phone's widget setup. It's easy to setup. If you can't tell the difference
between an icon pack & widget, that's purely your faut. My one gripe with
the Surrealistic icon pack: i keep getting air quality pop ups with random
news ads. Please give us a way to turn this off. It's the one thing I
couldn't find & disable.

Kept asking me to download a plug-in with improper instructions. Widget had so much potential but said it installed but wasn't there.
