This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing iBead Banners Ez on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

The iBead Banners Ex app is for designing and beading banners--using an android tablet. iBead Banners Ex allows you to design a banner from scratch or from a picture (a .jpg or .png file) using the companion app, iBeadBPix. iBead Banners Ex uses a one-drop, peyote pattern style. Banners can be up to 100 beads wide by 80 beads high. There are several sample patterns in the app that you can modify or from which you can bead directly. When you start the app, one of the sample patterns is randomly selected to display for you.

Banners are broken down into 8 panels. You work on one panel at a time. Each of the eight panels are 50 beads wide by 20 beads high. You can pick bead colors from 132 different colors. The app lets you "import" and "export" pattern files, so you can share patterns with others (such as through email).

The app has a help file which summarizes its main features (just touch the ? (question mark) icon on the first screen that appears). Some of the useful features include: a report of the number of beads of each color in the banner or in a single panel of the banner, a way to change all beads of one color to another color, a way to quickly fill in a entire panel with one color of beads, a quick-access color palette of 10 colors, a message feature, and more.
