What happened to the old app? This new version is terrible . I used the old version to check train line status ,and now i can't.

Very useful and practical. Please, provide an option to also show all names of stations and lines in kanji. Never used the old app, but reading the comments, the new app is missing useful features. Hope to see those reintroduced. Please, also consider publishing this app on F-Droid.

After a typhoon of 25.10.2019 the app does not display the actual train schedule for affected Chuo line. But still works as a draft route planner, i.e. it helps you choose connection stops on a long complex routes. But the only way to get correct timings is to consult JR staff at a station. Thus only 4*. It will be 5* when it displays the current train schedule with all changes, delays etc. See e.g. DB Navigator app.

the older version included the estimated location of trains along their routes and have helped many train enthusiasts to track and film the trains. It also showed the operation status of the lines that JR East operated, and the crowd level of the trains in central Tokyo. The new version only has map and route search function, and is not very useful, as other apps such as Hyperdia can perform similar functions Please revert back to the old version

I downloaded the app attracted by the look of old version, still shown on leaflets at stations. The new version is unbelievably primitive. Then I saw all comments for latest version complaining the same. Shame on the developers!
