Claims to support filtering by JR pass and Tokyo metro, but this is not an option in the app. This is available on the iPhone version, so I suspect this is either a bug or problem with the port to Android. Without that filter this app is not useful to me, though the route planning otherwise works well. Please fix the filtering!

Eh, honestly it's not as good as the old app from the same developer. The previous one was really nice and simple and worked well. But the UI in this one feels very cluttered and messy, and it feels like ads were forced in. I'm really sad the old one has gone. I think it could be as good but the UI definitely needs work. A lot of the English text doesn't fit properly and some of the translation isn't good. The 'F', 'L' and 'E' are not explained anywhere either, it was far clearer in the old app

Still crippled compared to Hyperdia. Hyperdia was the go-to Japan Rail scheduler for more than a decade. Since they lost their license, other mediocre apps have tried to fill the gap and failed. Jorudan is one of those. Limited selection of travel methods & platforms, limited directions and scheduling are all deliberate to encourage a paid subscription. If you want to discourage tourism for your whole country, this is the perfect way to do it!

Route search unable to show some results I.e. Shin-nihombashi -> sensoji temple. Don't have results on what trains to take to go there. Also no results for most bus journeys. Other than that still quite helpful.

This can be the best alternative to Hyperdia IF an option to choose between JR only and JR+Private is available. There are lot foreign travelers using JR Pass who may not understand each rail route.

Fantastic app for checking train schedules and optimal routes. Even has a Japan rail pass filter for tourists. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Japan for the first time or 10th time!

Japan Transit Planner-Norikae Annai is a multilingual version of the navigation application "Norikae Annai", the most downloaded in Japan.
It will show you the route or how to transfer by railways or airplanes in Japan.
It can check the route, the fare, and the required time easily as long as you input the departure station and the destination station.
