About this app
This app provides a convenient way of practicing and learning Christianity.
We know there are many more people who admire and follow the work of Jesus Christ than attend church on a weekly basis.
While many people have stopped going to church because of the very poor behavior of those employed by churches, others have found that churches have not kept up with the need in the 21st Century to provide services that are convenient, short or, even, modern.
Others have also been concerned by the amount of wealth that has been accumulated by the various churches and also how they continue to ask for more and more money from their supporters.
Some feel religious groups have lost sight of what Jesus has commanded - to obtain followers from all nations, to help those in need and importantly to love one another.
This app is a way that you can help spread the words and teachings of Jesus. It is a way you can satisfy the obligations that were given to us all.
It is also a way that you can introduce your children to Jesus by selecting relevant sections in the app. We suggest you help your children with accessing information in this app. While much of the content is child friendly you may find some of the topics in the sermon sections and discussion sections require some additional explanation.
To help you with spreading God's word we are providing this app at no charge. There are also no in-app purchases. We really would like for you to promote the app as widely as you can.
The app does however have an advertising page - which is selected from the main menu. There is also a page which provides instructions on how to make donations if you are so inclined. Payments or donations cannot be made directly from a link in this app.
For those wishing to assist financially the funds from advertising and donations will be used to: promote this app; provide scriptural materials where it is needed; help and support God's work; other Christian activities, assist the poor and needy with food, water and sanitation; help educate our children; help with medical research in areas of broad need; and provide some funds to the app developer.
The app also has links to popular and traditional Christian music, a range of RSS feeds - from sites delivering bible study, magazine articles, jokes, etc.., websites offering puzzles, etc..
Prayers and service templates, quotes from Jesus himself, and points for discussion [some covering modern day issues] are also provided.
While we have provided images from phones in the store listing - it does work on tablets. It particularly works well on Samsung S8 phones and older Samsung Galaxy tabs 2 and 3. [The tablet screenshots were unable to be saved for publishing on this site]
We see a need to grow the number of people who profess and are active in the faith offered by Jesus. A faith based on words like love, peace, joy, forgiveness, and care... words that often miss our daily news reports.
Please feel free to download this app and use it to increase the numbers of people who practice the life that Jesus taught.
