About this app

rPool is a product of redBus, India’s first and largest bus ticket aggregator. It is an easy to use carpooling and bike pooling platform for working professionals where they can share rides, fuel costs, as well as network in their travel time by sharing experiences with colleagues, friends and neighbors
redBus, a business unit of ibibo Group Pvt. Ltd, has been a long-time pioneer in facilitating the inter-city bus commute. A quest for solving the problem of intra-city commute as well led the team to launch rPool in 2019. This was driven by a guiding principle to provide a convenient, economical and sustainable solution to the traffic problem through carpooling and bike pooling.
Ride-Givers can offer to share their rides by simply listing their commute route, date and time along with vehicle details. Ride-Takers in the route can request to join their ride and share the fuel costs on completion of the trip.
rPool’s intra-city ride-sharing services are currently open in 5 cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune. In 2020, rPool also launched its inter-city carpooling services across India.
