Active Connex Vehicle Access Parking Permit Scheme (VAPPS) makes sure that during your event, the right people have access to the right place at the right time.

AC VAPPS is a parking permit management system that offers an end-to-end solution, from allocation of passes per vehicle or person, to automatic distribution, car park management, and gate management, all with off-the-shelf and bespoke reporting.

When you are planning an event, many critical factors need to be taken into consideration. Access for the different groups of vehicles must be managed adequately in order to ensure security, traffic management, logistics, and enforcement.

What does the Software do?

The VAPPS system tracks and manages the life cycle of all permits or passes required at the event to ensure the organiser has control of every vehicle within the event area. The fully configurable system can manage VAPPS for multiple client groups, in numerous locations and across different service or functional areas.

The tamper-proof permits are printed with in-built security features, such as bar codes, NFC or RFID technology, unique numerical identifiers and can be produced in various shapes and colours.

At vehicle entry points, security personnel check that permits are valid for that time, location and vehicle. The checks can be made automatically by using ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) or NFC, bar code or RFID which is linked to the VAPPS database. Only those vehicles with matching registered details will be granted access. During the event the system can cancel and amend permits, enabling event staff to have accurate and up-to-date permit information.
