This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing BIOS Kappler Tal on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

Das Kappler Tal ist ein Ortsteil der Stadt Freiburg und erstreckt sich vom Dreisamtal (338m Höhe) bis zum Schauinslandgipfel (1284m Höhe). Es gehört zum Biosphärengebiet Schwarzwald, das seit dem Jahr 2017 UNESCO-Naturerbe ist.

In diesem Kontext wurde 2019/20 das vom Biosphärengebiet Schwarzwald geförderte Projekt „Mensch – Zeit – Erde, Themenweg Lebensraum Freiburg-Kappel“ konzipiert.

In Zusammenarbeit des Kunst- und Kulturvereins Freiburg-Kappel e.V. mit der Ortsverwaltung Freiburg-Kappel und der Stadt Freiburg entstanden zwei Rundwege, die die Besucher*innen an verschiedene Stationen im vorderen Kappler Tal (kleiner Rundweg 6,95km) und im hinteren Kappler Tal (großer Rundweg 12,8km) führen. 

Die Stationen bestehen aus:

19 Infotafeln + Bergwerksausstellung
Sie geben anhand von Beschreibungen, Bildern und gesprochenen Geschichten einen Einblick in das Kappler Tal, seine Kultur und seine wechselhafte Geschichte – mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf der Zeit des Bergbaus.

12 Soundscapes (Klanglandschaften)
Die akustische Signatur einer Landschaft enthält eine Vielzahl von Informationen über das jeweilige Ökosystem – nicht nur über das Vorkommen verschiedener Tierarten, sondern auch über seine strukturelle Zusammensetzung, den Grad der menschlichen Beeinflussung, jahres- und tageszeitliche Rhythmen sowie über klimatische Wechselbeziehungen. Dazu stehen 47 Tonaufnahmen mit Klängen und Geräuschen vielfältiger Art und mit ihnen verbundene Erklärungen zur Verfügung.

7 Skulpturen
Menschliches Streben, Leben, Verführung, Hoffnung, Suche, Verbindungen, Globalisierung und der Umgang mit unserer Welt – alte Themen, die aber auch im 21. Jahrhundert nicht an Aktualität eingebüßt haben, werden in sieben großformatigen Holzskulpturen aufgegriffen und interpretiert.

Die App BIOS Kappler Tal begleitet durch den Themenweg. Sie umfasst eine interaktive Karte, welche die beiden Rundwege und deren verschiedene Stationen anzeigt und so eine selbständige Navigation durch das Gebiet ermöglicht. Die Informationen und Bilder der Infotafeln und die dazu erzählte Geschichten können über die App abgerufen werden. Auch die Soundscapes mit Klangbeispielen sowie ergänzende Informationen und Bilder sind in der App hinterlegt. Zudem stellt die App zu den sieben Skulpturen Hintergründe in Bild, Text und Ton bereit.

Alle Stationen sind in der App aufgelistet und können entweder GPS-gestützt abgelaufen oder manuell ausgewählt werden.
