This free service is intended to help individuals seeking assistance for substance abuse and their families find hospitals, treatment centers, organizations, and support services quickly and easily. The app is divided into 3 color-coded sections to provide easy access to education on substance abuse issues, resources for treatment, support and training, and immediate emergency assistance. Individuals can use their phone’s location information to find services and resources that are available nearby. The Suffolk County Health Department may provide alerts regarding substance abuse emergencies and crises.
