Savy is a ride-sharing app powered by Via. You can use Savy for fast, reliable, low-cost travel in and around Queenstown. Savy is convenient and easy to use: Simply select your pick-up and dropoff point and a Savy van will meet you at the hot spot closest to your location within 10 minutes of your request. - For the launch of the service, we serve Downtown Queenstown, as well as Frankton, Arthur’s Point, Lake Hayes, and Kelvin Heights. Ride for free; no credit card or cash collection required.

How does Pickup work?
- Savy is an on-demand transit system service powered by Via that takes multiple passengers heading in the same direction and books them into a shared vehicle. Using the Savy app, type in your address and your destination and we’ll match you with a vehicle going your way.
- To save time and reduce detours, we’ll pick you up on a nearby corner and drop you off within a few blocks of your requested destination. Our smart algorithms provide trip times that are comparable to a taxi, even with multiple pick-ups along the way.
- Book rides on-demand, or pre-schedule them up to 30 days in advance! Create repeated bookings, go to the airport, and more; Savy is always available when you need it.

When does it operate?
- Savy operates Sunday-Thursdays from 6am-11pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays between 6 a.m. and 1 a.m.

How long will I wait?
- Our average wait time is under 10 minutes and you'll always get an accurate estimate of your pick-up ETA before booking. You can also track your car in real- time in the app.

How many passengers will I share a car with?
- We’re accepting groups of up to 6 passengers! Our minibuses can easily accommodate up to 10 people.

How much will it cost me?
- For the launch of the service, you can ride for a flat fare of $5; no surge ever! -
- Traveling as a group? Add your friends or family to your ride for just $3 per additional passenger.

App Permissions
