Using BlueStacks

About this app

Alasita es la fiesta de la prosperidad, donde los creyentes compran objetos o bienes materiales (autos, casas, dinero, alimentos, computadoras, etc.) en miniatura como necesidades humanas para vivir. Parte de la fiesta es la ritualidad de agradecimiento, ch'alla de los objetos por los yatiris y bendición en la iglesia Católica a las 12 del mediodía del 24 de enero. Se trata de una costumbre en el marco de la reciprocidad y el intercambio de Illas e Ispallas (miniaturas de la fertilidad), heredada de la civilización tiwanacota.

Originalmente la población celebraba Alasita el 21 de diciembre solsticio de verano, tiempo de WillkaKuti o QhapajRaymi, en el que se acostumbraba el intercambio de Illas. Durante la Colonia, esta feria fie cambiada al 20 de octubre y despues al 24 de enero.
