Great app, I'm running it on Amazon Fire 7 (9th gen). However, I have 2 problems: 1) day/night switch in google maps doesn't work for me. Neither "light sensor" (probably because I don't have one) nor "calculated" method doesn't work. Can you add option to switch between day/night based on the phone data? 2) for some reason my tablet disconnects from my phone hotspot every once in a while. The app crashes in this case most of the time. Any way to force to hang in there?

Great app Emil. I love it. I have a single problem concerning the night/day mode. I've read through the forums and haven't managed yet to overcome my issue. My app is always set to night mode if I use day/night calculations and unfortunately the headlight option isn't available for my unit. I have to force day mode in case I drive in daylight. Hopefully you'll have some way to circumvent this issue.

I use a Chinese custom made headunit that runs Android 8.1 for my 4runner and a Pixel 3 running Android 11. Had issues initially connecting through USB, but it turned out it was my usb cable. I'm pretty impressed - I was able to set the resolution to 1980x1080 which makes Android Auto look amazing. I have to take off a star because trying to use the wireless AA kept disconnecting and turning off my wifi radio, and couldn't get it to work. I was using a third party CarLink adapter with limited options, but the HUR app is a way better option. Good job, and I would definitely recommend.

Brilliant app works perfectly on my cheap Chinese head unit, from my pixel 3xl Android 11 via USB , would love to be able to have wireless connection but can't get the connection to happen , have installed WiFi launcher in my phone and the head unit will search for incoming connection but won't connect ...other than that when connecting via USB it's near perfect

It's great! When it works. The first few days it worked great on my Dasaita android head unit running Android 10 but after a few days, whenever I plug in my Pixel 4 XL (Android 11) it connects, then the app closes, tries to connect again, closes and so forth. I thought it was my cable but I've tried it with multiple cables and the app keeps crashing. Is this something that can be fixed with settings or does the app need to be updated?

Updated:[The below problem can be avoided by enabling Dex mode, and then disable the phone keyboard (enabled by default).] So far installed on Samsung Tab S6 and it works well with Pixel 3 XL connected in USB mode. However, when i run it on my tablet Tab S6 using self mode, i can't type in destination address in map. It will jump to android auto on my tab s6 and back to Headunit Reloaded's android auto in a loop, with a floating phase "Your phone keyboard is active". Is there a way to fix it?
