This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SolarIO on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Visualisation sur fond de carte, en temps réel des grandeurs (flux solaires et données météorologiques) mesurées par les stations du LE2P – Energy Lab déployées dans les États du sud-ouest de l’Océan Indien.

SolarIO permet aux utilisateurs de consulter les données en temps réel mais également d’observer et d’analyser l'historique des mesures. Il est alors possible de réaliser par exemple une cartographie du gisement solaire et ainsi avoir connaissance des lieux optimums d’implantation de fermes solaires selon les besoins de chacun.

L’application mobile SolarIO s’inscrit dans le cadre du projet IOS-net (Indian Ocean Solar Network) : Étude du gisement solaire et optimisation des systèmes énergétiques solaires intelligents dans les pays du sud-ouest de l'Océan Indien, co-financée par l’Union européenne, la Région Réunion et la COI (Commission de l'Océan Indien).
