RainMan is handy app to have in Finland. It is slow to load precipitation radar images but good that it provides the radar images with 5 minute intervals instead of 15 minute on the web. Sadly lightning radar doesn't seem to work or then load at all currently. Would have been nice to follow during last night's thunderstorm. This android version feels like a downgraded version compared to the Windows Phone app version: both load time wise and feature wise.

This application has been abandoned by the developer. It doesn't work anymore and there likely will be no updates.

Doesn't work anymore - no predictions at all. It was great app until recently.

Doesn't show future predictions anymore, only past rain.

Low detail forecasts, animation loads several times before playing only half of the frames, in interval of 15 minutes not even displaying the info. Could be so much better... If you would like to see an example of how it could be, check Buienalarm (Dutch app)

startup time is far too slow, and even more delayed by slow redrawing. zoom in and out stutters now and then. Otherwise very good and promising. I did though notice something with the animation step lengh drop down menu which might be a bug (not sure yet...:)
