Developer provides wrong instructions, for Android 7 After install, in Settings INSTEAD select General, Language & Keyboard; then More Languages..that's where Green keyboard shows, just below Voice Typing. When you select it, then options to customize, & it finally appears in Language & Keyboard, as well as in your Apps list. I got it for a small (12) MB footprint. I will report later on how it works.
