Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Daily Studies About Parenthood on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

People have ideas about parenthood. We want to learn how these ideas affect the way we think and feel about ourselves. If you would like to participate in this research study, you will be asked to install a smartphone app and answer daily surveys about yourself over several months.

6.0.0 (android version 6) - Updated the app for first wave of full data collection with extra instructions. Please note that this research app will request your permission to Schedule Alarms & Reminders and to Schedule Notifications. This is required to deliver surveys to participants at specific times to adhere to the research design.

Marker permission for applications that wish to access notification policy.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
