Our intelligent electric car charger enables clean e-mobility at nearly zero cost. By using the convenient app you are always in control and gain an overview of your car’s charging process, no matter where you are. Our app reveals how many clean kilometres have been added to your vehicle and how fast it is being charged.

Do you want to charge your EV as fast as possible? No problem, simply use Power Mode by selecting it on the main screen of the app. Are you in no rush and only require the car to be ready at a later point in time, pick Smart Mode. It automatically maximises self consumption from your self generated PV electricity. Simply enter the time when you next require your car to be fully-charged and our intelligent algorithms will ensure that the vehicle is ready. While you are in Smart Mode the sonnenCharger, in conjunction with the sonnen control room, uses weather forecasts and power measurements of your home consumption in order to pick the ideal charging cycle. In addition, Smart Mode helps to avoid overloading of the electricity grids. And if you are a sonnenFlat customer, the clean energy for your EV is even for free!
