It's a great idea and looks good but has one huge drawback. It seems to
know when trains have passed certain waypoints but then shows a predicted
position. The predicted position often jumps back to the last waypoint.
This makes it an unreliable tool because you never know where the train
really is.

Shows virtual trains according to the time table from the DB server, but not the real train coordinates. Why would you need such virtual radar, if it is not a 'game about trains', as Google suggests? I tried App in real life for my current ICE train and it shows incorrect position, so App is completely useless.

Zugpositionen stimmen nicht unbedingt. Zum Zeitpunkt dieser Bewertung schaue ich einen stehenden ICE an (Polizei am Zug), laut Zugradar ist er schon 20km weiter und am fahren.

Der Zug ist in der Software vorbeigefahren, obwol es tatsächlich gar kein Zug gab.
