This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing DB Tracker GPS Tracker (Unreleased) on PC Windows and Mac.

Du befindest Dich in einem Zug der DB. Dein Standort wird in regelmäßigen Abständen an den DB Tracker-Server übertragen und auf Deiner DB Tracker-Karte angezeigt.

Modus "Ich verfolge einen Zug"
Du befindest Dich in keinem Zug der DB, möchtest aber wissen, wo sich ein bestimmter Zug gerade befindet. Sofern sich gerade jemand in dem Zug befindet, der DB Tracker im Modus "Ich bin im Zug" nutzt, kannst Du Dir den Standort des Zuges auf Deiner DB Tracker-Karte anschauen.

Was sind typische Anwendungsfälle?
✔ Du fährst in einem Zug der DB und möchtest einschätzen können, wie weit es noch bis zur nächsten Haltestelle ist. Da neben der aktuellen Zugposition auch alle Haltestellen angezeigt werden, ist das kein Problem.

✔ Du wartest auf jemanden, der gerade in einem Zug der DB fährt und möchtest Dich informieren, wo sich der Zug aktuell befindet. Wenn Du die Person im Zug bittest, DB Tracker auch zu starten, ist das kein Problem.

✔ Du willst in Kürze mit einem Zug der DB fahren und möchtest Dich informieren, wo sich der Zug aktuell befindet.

✔ Du fährst in einem Zug der DB und findest es einfach spannend zu beobachten, wie sich der Zug auf der Karte fortbewegt :).
