Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Welcome for myBUSCH-JAEGER on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

since Oct 21 update, keeps on asking pop up activation which I refuse but the question keeps popping up although I said NO!! New layout is really bad. Keeps crashing/freezing. The system is used in our case for the gate and small door on the side, the possibility of being able to open TWO doors was the ONLY reason we installed this system. However, they don't even have 2 different buttons, we had to allocate one door to the bulb button (thus sacrificing the light option). With the new layout, only the key button is at bottom and the bulb is in a small corner. Really unhappy, get your act together!

Rubbish app. The events log now has no detail. Events cannot be deleted. Old app was functional and fit for purpose. This current app is not.

Crashes upon activating. Used to work before. Get the impression that ABB is no longer keeping the app up to date with newer android releases. Not very customer friendly!

You can see and hear who is at your door.

Simply connect the app to your Welcome system via the myBUSCH-JAEGER/myABB-LivingSpace account.

Preconditions:
Welcome door communication system with configured IP-Gateway 83341 or 83341-500, SW version 1.16 or higher.
Registration at https://my.busch-jaeger.de or https://my.abb-livingspace.com.
For usage via internet: IP-Gateway is connected via DSL 6000 or better.
For usage via internet: Mobile device is connected via 3G/UMTS or WLAN, data plan (e.g. flatrate) allows voice over IP (VoIP).

NOTE: In order to receive door calls the app has to run in the background.

WARNING: Not compatible with IP-Gateway 83340-500 for the Busch-ComfortTouch®.
