This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing BMW Connected on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

Used to be able to see if your windows and sunroof were closed but since the update that info is no longer available. It's available on the iPhone app but not android

Not able to locate the vehicle using the locate vehicle function. Receiving error message "Current Vehicle location is unknown".

Why do you need always on location tracking on my phone? Setting to location "only while using app" displays a giant red ugly banner.

2021 X6 here. And Wow. Wow. Just WOW. The Remote 3D View ALONE makes this app INCREDIBLE. Talk about peace of mind!! Doesn't get any better than this....although being able to only view 3x within 2 hours is a bummer, the mere fact that you can do this at all is STUNNING. And the close-up and panoramic images it sends back are absolutely PHOTOREALISTIC!!

I have a Huawei Mate10 Pro but I can't see my car! I have downloaded but it does not work. Except from a few functions and the Welcome, I can't do anything there. I see my car with all functions though, in my laptop. Is there any limitation since I have a Huawei and might be blocked by Google?

The app no longer is functioning when attempting to send my destination information to my car's navigation. Seems BMW knows about this issue but has not been able to correct it.
