Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Enroute Flight Navigation on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Nice effort. Ill test it out soon. One suggestion. Can you add some navigation aids, like a standard compas with a heading bug and a HSI for when flying towards a point. Especially a HSI is pretty practical for flying with a x-wind, to stay on the track. This would make the app perfect. You don't really need much more that that, Keep up the good work.

For the price it is, it's utterly fantastic! I use this for flight school, and I'm usually within one degree and 1 minute of my instructor with foreflight

It's nice and simple but with out air space altitudes in congested countries not much help, nice idea though!

Perfect app. One request though. Would it be possible to add audible airspace warnings into the app? Like close to restricted airspace and in restricted airspace? One beep is enough. I am using it an Android device with an earphone output. - Could reroute that sound to my headset. That would be helpful in narrow airspaces. Then some sort of logging of flights? just a text list of flight times? Many thanks anyway. This is better than great to have. Oh they want me to ask for more here on that Forum. Na dann auf Deutsch. Ich bin echt begeistert und überrascht über die Vielfalt, die diese App hat . Meine Frage ist ob man Warntöne hinzufügen kann um vor verbotenen Lufträumen zu warnen? Dazu gehören in Deutschland ja zuweilen auch Naturschutzgebiete - die ihr ja dankbarerweise mit aufgenommen hat.

About this app

Enroute is a non-commercial flight navigation app written by flight enthusiasts for VFR pilots. Designed to be simple, functional, and elegant, it takes the stress out of your next flight.

Enroute features a moving map similar in style to the official ICAO maps. Your current position and your flight path for the next five minutes are marked, and so is your intended flight route. A simple tap gives you all the information about airspaces, airfields, and navaids – complete with frequencies, codes, elevations, and runway information.

Our aeronautical maps are free, receive weekly updates, and cover large parts of the world. Selected maps show traffic circuits and flight procedures for control zones.

Enroute supports essential flight planning. It allows you to quickly and easily compute distances, courses, and headings. It gives you an estimate for flight time and fuel consumption. If the weather turns bad, the app will show you the closest airfields for landing, complete with distances, directions, runway information, and frequencies.

There is no advertising and no commercial “pro”-version of the app. We do not spy on you. You do not need to register for “membership.” And we do not hassle you with e-mails. We do not even have or want your address!

The moving map now display airspace altitudes. Waypoint info text show the minimal gliding ratio required to reach the waypoint.
