The abus 8078 is an amazing piece while the app is just disappointing. One moment the app was fine, the other was lacking all of its settings. Reinstalled the app then some came back but I can't find a way to enable a pin for the app. Every time something is missing from the menu. Fix it. I paid 230€ for the best disk lock on the market but you can't support its functioning with this terrible app. Very sad.

The lock stops recognizing my phone as soon as the Bluetooth disconnects after first pairing. Only works again after making the app "forget" the lock and then setting it back up again with the key card. Basically useless at this point. If any Abus developers are interested in debugging I'd love to help (I'm a software engineer by trade).

It was working. Abus 8078, no choice but to use the app and now the lock won't open at all! I'm just glad it wasn't on my bike when it decided to keep say, "oops, it won't open." Now I have a 279 dollar paper weight. Great

DO NOT BUY the Smartx 770a Lock! I bought one and it stopped working completely. The only sound it makes now is the 2 beeps when connected to a charger. Abus won't help me, I will keep everyone informed, hopefully it starts working again. ABUS, WE NEED A DAMN UPDATE!! THIS EXPENSIVE $#!+ DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY!!

Keyless is basically non-functional. Unlocking is hit or miss at times.
